Jurassic World 4: EXTINCTION

The upcoming installment in the Jurassic World franchise is titled Jurassic World: Rebirth, not “Jurassic World 4: Extinction.” Scheduled for release on July 2, 2025, this film marks the fourth entry in the Jurassic World series and the seventh overall in the Jurassic Park saga.

Directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp, Jurassic World: Rebirth introduces a fresh narrative set five years after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion. In this new era, dinosaurs have begun adapting to their environments, leading to significant ecological changes. The plot follows a team of scientists and special operations experts on a mission to extract a unique substance from dinosaur DNA to prevent a looming pandemic.

The film features a new ensemble cast, including Scarlett Johansson as ex-CIA agent Zora Bennett, Mahershala Ali as ship captain Duncan Kincaid, and Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis. Their characters are central to the storyline, which explores themes of coexistence between humans and dinosaurs.

Filming commenced on June 13, 2024, in Thailand, with subsequent locations in Malta and the UK. The production is expected to wrap up at Sky Studios Elstree in the UK.

t’s worth noting that the title “Jurassic World 4: Extinction” has been associated with fan-made concept trailers and speculative content, but it is not the official title of the upcoming film. The official title remains Jurassic World: Rebirth.
