Shattered is a 2022 American psychological thriller directed by Luis Prieto and written by David Loughery. The film stars Cameron Monaghan, Lilly Krug, Frank Grillo, and John Malkovich. Chris Decker, a wealthy tech entrepreneur recovering from a divorce, meets the enigmatic Sky during a late-night shopping trip. After a brief romantic encounter, Chris suffers a leg injury, and Sky offers to care for him at his high-tech, isolated home. However, Sky’s intentions are far from altruistic. She, along with her accomplice Sebastian, orchestrates a sinister plan to exploit Chris’s wealth, leading to a harrowing fight for survival involving Chris, his ex-wife Jamie, and their daughter Willow.

Shattered received mixed to negative reviews from critics. Angela Dawson of Forbes described it as a “simmering thriller reminiscent of classic femme fatale thrillers,” while Michael Nordine of Variety criticized it for lacking the boldness of its inspirations. Matt Zoller Seitz of RogerEbert.com awarded the film 1.5 out of 4 stars, citing issues with its craftsmanship. On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 5.0/10 based on approximately 6,900 user ratings.
