​The Requin (2022), also known as From Below in the UK, is a survival horror thriller written and directed by Le-Van Kiet. The film stars Alicia Silverstone and James Tupper as a couple whose romantic getaway turns into a fight for survival.

Jaelyn and Kyle, a married couple coping with the trauma of a stillbirth, travel to a remote overwater villa in Vietnam to reconnect. Their trip takes a harrowing turn when a violent tropical storm detaches their bungalow, sending them adrift into open sea. Kyle sustains a severe leg injury, and as they struggle to survive, they face dehydration, exposure, and an escalating threat from circling great white sharks. Jaelyn is eventually forced to confront the predators alone in a desperate bid for survival.
