Titanic 2 (2025)

There is no official sequel to James Cameron’s 1997 film “Titanic” scheduled for release in 2025. The trailers circulating online, such as “Titanic 2 (2025) – First Trailer | Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet,” are fan-made concept videos and not indicative of an actual upcoming film.

These fan-created trailers often repurpose existing footage to craft hypothetical scenarios, leading to misconceptions about a sequel’s production. For instance, a fake AI-generated “concept trailer” for a “Titanic” sequel has garnered millions of views, fueling unfounded speculation.

While Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, the original film’s stars, have reunited for professional events—such as DiCaprio introducing a screening of Winslet’s film “Lee” in November 2024—there have been no announcements regarding a “Titanic” sequel.

It’s also worth noting that there is a separate project named “Titanic II,” which refers to a proposed replica ship, not a film. Initiated by Australian billionaire Clive Palmer, this ship aims to recreate the original Titanic’s voyage, with construction anticipated to begin in 2025 and a maiden voyage projected for June 2027.

In summary, despite the creative fan content and ongoing interest in the “Titanic” story, there is no legitimate “Titanic 2” movie slated for release in 2025.
